GENII Acquired iVention

iVention, a top supplier of cloud-based laboratory execution systems, is acquired by GSG GENII Software Group

GSG GENII Software Group (“GENII“) declared that the purchase of iVention was complete. With its robust and adaptable iVention Lab Execution System (iLES), a software system created especially for and around the laboratory process, iVention offers laboratories in a wide range of industries.

With its headquarters in Zwolle, The Netherlands, iVention distributes its solutions using a platform for cloud-based lab automation that combines all necessary features for lab automation in a single system.

Even in environments with strict regulations, iLES, the ultimate laboratory management tool, increases productivity and quality by streamlining workflows and managing and computerizing both routine and research work. With iLES, laboratories can access real-time data, ensure data integrity, and comply with regulations while saving time and money thanks to effective process automation and less manual data handling.

iVention becomes part of GENII’s Laboratories business unit, joining other specialists such as ICD and Blomesystem as GENII continues to build out its clinical and non-clinical software solutions for the laboratory sector.

As part of a larger Laboratories business, iVention will leverage GENII’s Laboratories customer base and geographical footprint, receiving investment to achieve its ambition of becoming a global top 5 iLES solution, competing directly with incumbent players and winning market share as the modern application of choice.
